General Chairman of Muhammadiyah 2015-2020 Haedar Nasir said, the shadow leadership of its predecessor was the inspiration for him to lead the organization.
"Behind me there is the shadow of Din Shamsuddin, Syafii, Amien Rais and AR Fachruddin," said Haedar in the area of the 47th congress of Muhammadiyah Muhammadiyah University Makassar, Makassar, Friday (7/8).
Under new leadership, Haedar claimed remembered the momentum change of the leadership of Caliph Abu Bakr Assidiq towards Umar bin Khattab.
"Umar then said to Abu Bakr about leadership relay. Umar said that Abu Bakr would make his successor become tired (because of the good track record)," he said.
That event, said Haedar, re-occurring in the leadership succession in 2015's Muhammadiyah Din Syamsuddin to Haedar Nasir.
Haedar said he also will be tired to continue the achievements Din. However, it will be resolved soon consider there are 12 other leaders, along with a number of Muhammadiyah members behind him.
"But we are not exhausted if there were 12 other leaders because they are all great leaders. In hindsight we also have seven autonomous organization Muhammadiyah, Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership 34, 488 Regional Leadership, 3655 Branch Manager, led 13 540 branches and millions of Muhammadiyah," he concluded ,
Togetherness, he continued, would make Muhammadiyah be strong and carry Persyarikatan towards enlightenment movement for Indonesia berkemajuan. Furthermore, the progress that can be transmitted to all elements of society in Indonesia and the world.
