Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Tito Karnavian said it was still looking for a motive Andi Wahyudi, 38 years old, killed Hayriantira, 37 years old, personal assistant boss PT XL Axiata. To that end, there was a possibility the police would check Rukmilah, mother of Hayriantira, to determine a motive for murder.
"It could be, the murder of Rian (call Hayriantira) was planned," said Tito after Friday prayers at Polda Metro Jaya, Jakarta, Friday, August 7th, 2015.
Tito explained, in the examination, Andi spontaneously confessed to killing Rian because heartache after being insulted. However, the evidence in the field could lead to the murder.
"Therefore, we are still steeped in the murder case, because the real motives remain unclear," he said.
Tito said the agency will examine other witnesses who are considered able to uncover a motive for murder. If the results of the investigation proved that Andi kill Rian spontaneously, he will be charged with Article 338 on murder without planning. But conversely, if he proved to plan the murder of Rian, Andi can be charged under Article 340 of the Criminal Code on premeditated murder.
Hayriantira killed by Andi Wahyudi at Hotel Cipaganti, Garut, West Java, in October 2014. The murder case is revealed when Andi arrested as a result of fraud signatures on documents Honda Mobilio car allegedly belonging to Rian.
Based on the investigation at the scene, police concluded that the motive was murder victim wants to master treasure. According to him, the indication is that the suspect had prepared a fake vehicle number plates. After killing Rian, Andi then straight away using the victim's car and replace a number of police vehicles with false plates.
In addition, at the crime scene, the suspect did not leave the slightest evidence.
